500 TMC workers join BJP 

Jangipara, June 28, (HS) Nearly 500 TMC workers joined BJP at Rajbalhat area under Jangipara block in Hooghly district on Sunday evening.

State general secretary of BJP Sayantan Basu along with Shyamal Bose, BJP president of Shrirampur organisational district welcomed the newcomers in the party.

Shyamal Bose said on this occasion, “Today nearly 500 TMC workers have joined our party. They were highly impressed by the policies of the Modi led central government and the way the central government has handled the Covid-19 pandemic. Our party has become stronger in the area and TMC will soon be finished.”
