Direct paddy sowing demonstration for farmers

Jammu, June 24 (HS) Department of Agriculture conducted a demonstration of direct sowing of paddy with automatic multi seed cum fertilizer drill at Panchayat lower Jandial . The main aim of the demonstration was to make the farmers aware about mechanized way of farming. This technique reduces labour cost drastically with less seeds and water.

The technical team of ABM Crop-X Company which installed the direct paddy sowing machine was present on the occasion. Proprietor Aditya Vasisht said that these machines were easily available on government subsidy under various government schemes.
