Martyrdom of soldiers in Galwan Valley will not go in vain: RKS Bhadauria
New Delhi, 20 June (HC). Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria on Saturday said that efforts were being made to resolve the Ladakh standoff on Indo-China border. However, he reiterated, if needed, Indian Air Force was ready to combat any situation.
Bhadauria said, “The martyrdom of the martyrs will not go in vain. Indian Air Force is ready to combat any situation if arises in Eastern Ladakh conflict.” He was addressing Air Force Academy in Hyderabad on Saturday morning to participate in the Joint Graduate Parade (CGP) and took the salute from the stage.
He recalled the soldiers who were martyred on the Galwan Valley. The air chief said to the airmen involved in the parade, “Please join me to pay tribute to the sacrificing army colonel Santosh Babu and his brave comrades while defending the LAC in the Galvan Valley.” Their sacrifice demonstrates our resolve to defend India’s sovereignty at any cost with valor in challenging situations.”
Air Chief Marshal said that they were well prepared and positioned to respond to any sudden incident or incursion. “I assure the nation that we will never let the sacrifices of the brave of Galvan go in vain,” Bhadauria reiterated.
He said that the security scenario in our region suggested that our armed forces were ready and on high alert at all times. Even after the martyrdom of Indian troops on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh, all efforts were underway to reach agreements to resolve the standoff peacefully during military negotiations.
During the occasion of this Graduation Combined Parade, the Indian Air Force’s brave hearts performed spectacular feats. Social distancing was properly followed in the parade because of the Corona. Everyone joined the parade wearing masks. Though it was a very special moment for the cadets , this was the first time that no parents and relatives of the cadets’ family could attend this event.
