Corona toll in India crossed 3.80 lakh

New Delhi, 19 June (H.S.): The number of corona patients in the country has now reached 3.80 Lakh. In the last 24 hours, 13,586 new cases of Corona have been reported. This is the highest ever increase in a single day. With this, the number of Corona patients has increased to 3,80,532.

 

Besides, 336 deaths have been reported from Corona in the last 24 hours. With this, the death toll from this disease has reached 12,573. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Friday morning, there are 1,63,248 active patients in the country. At the same time, in the last 24 hours, 10,387 patients of Corona have recovered. So far, a total of 2,04,711 patients have fully recovered in the country.

 

While the cases of corona are on surge in the country, the rate of recovery is also good and has increased by one percent reaching to 53.8 percent.

 

The Ministry further said, the recovery rates have steadily improved in some states, including Maharashtra, Odisha, Bihar, Karnataka, Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala. In these states, the recovery rate is around 60 percent.

At the same time, the recovery rate is very low in some states due to the increase in new cases. These states include Sikkim, Mizoram, Nagaland. Punjab has the highest recovery rate where 962 cases are active while 2570 people have been cured. The pace of new cases is also slow here.

 

Similarly, the situation in Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand has also improved. The worst conditions are in Maharashtra and Delhi. More than half of the country’s cases are coming from these two states.
