Eleven persons killed in a road mishap on Bihar-Jharkhand border

 

Patna, June 10 (HS): Eleven passengers were killed and 25 others severely injured in a road mishap on National Highway-2 near Chauparan on Bihar-Jharkhand border early Monday morning.

 

Deputy Commissioner of Hazaribagh, Ravi Shankar Shukla who rushed to the spot supervised rescue operations and sent the injured to nearest hospital.

 

Private bus of Maharani Travels was going to Masaurhi from Gumla.

 

Survivors said that the driver lost control over the vehicle when it approached Danua valley and hit a truck carrying iron slabs.

 

Among those killed in the mishap was Upendra Barnwal and his son, Aditya.
