Sachin donates a NGO to help 4,000 people
New Delhi,09 May(HS): Former Indian cricket team captain and legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar has donated to a Mumbai-based non-profit organization to help 4,000 underprivileged people including children from Mumbai Corporation schools.
The organization to which Sachin has donated thanked Sachin on Twitter. The High Five Youth Foundation wrote on Twitter, ‘Thank you Sachin, once again proving that sports encourage compassion! The donations you have made to our Covid-19 Fund will help us to provide financial assistance to 4,000 vulnerable people Including children from @mybmontchools. Our budding players thanking you, Little Master!”
Sachin also wished the organization for its commendable work and tweeted, “Best wishes to the team for your efforts in support of daily wage families”
Earlier, Sachin had donated Rs 25 lakh each to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund and the Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to aid in the fight against the Coronavirus epidemic.
