Total numbers of Corona positive reached 27 in Jharkhand
Ranchi, 15 April ( H.S). Two more residents of Ranchi’s Hindpiri were tested COVID positive and one from Simdega on Monday. With this three new cases corona positive patient’s number reached 27 in Jharkhand. Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Director Dr DK Singh confirmed. Hindapidhi mohalla of Ranchi capital is highly affected by the pandemic with 13 cases followed by 9 from Bokaro, 3 from Hazaribag, 1 from Koderma, 1 from Giridih and 1 from Simdega.
Meanwhile, RIMS fraternity is conducting a state-level survey among the residents of Jharkhand about knowledge, vision and practices regarding COVID-19. All residents of Jharkhand above 18 years of age are eligible to participate in the survey. The responses given by the people will be anonymous and confidential.
According to a press communique, a cabinet sub-committee has been constituted by the Cabinet Secretariat and Vigilance Department of Jharkhand government to monitor all types of action being taken to prevent the spread of Corona Virus. Health minister Banna Gupta is the co-ordinator of this sub-committee and Finance Minister Rameshwar Oraon will head.
