Ten arrested in Rahul’s constituency for playing cricket during lockdown

Lucknow,April 10(HS)Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath held a review meeting here this morning and is doing everything possible to defeat the virus but all this will come to naught if people in the state do not realise the gravity of the situation and fully support the government.

While most of the senior people in the state are backing the government, some youngsters and middle-aged persons are still paying disregard.

A group of youngsters in former Congress president Rahul Gandhi’s Amethi constituency were seen playing cricket on the empty road in utter violation of the lockdown.

As Yogi has zero-tolerance for indiscipline,the policemen swung into action as soon as information about it reached them.They have arrested ten of them.

Reports of playing cricket on the road have also come from some western parts of the state.In certain areas people are misusing the passes and using them for non-essential services.

In the light of these developments, the government has banned use of transport in certain hours.In Lucknow,it is banned between 9.30 in the morning to 6.00 in the evening.

There is no change in the death tally so far but several new cases have come to light.
