BJP advised people to avoid visiting party office amid Covid-19 threat
New Delhi, Mar 19 (HS): There is an atmosphere of lockdown in many parts of the country due to Coronavirus. Cinema halls, schools, colleges, tourist places are all closed. In view of the current challenges amid the spread of Covid-19, the Bharatiya Janata Party has also advised the people to avoid as much as possible, visiting the BJP office.
According to an office bearer in the BJP headquarter, although no such official instructions have been given in this regard but we advise the people to avoid as much as possible to visit the office in view of the spread of coronavirus.
When asked whether such instructions have been issued that the party office was closed for general public, the official said, “Please come if you have any work. No such restrictions.”
Thermal scanning is being done at entry point of the office and people are being advised to sanitize their hands properly before entering the office.
In this regard an advisory issued by the Union Health Ministry has also been pasted in the party office so as to educate people in this regard.
Before March 31, all type of demonstration, rally or protest march in the country have been postponed.
