Coronavirus Threat: Public Emergency has been announced in Washington

Washington, March 12 (HS): Coronavirus cases have exceeded above 1000 in the United States. Due to its rapid spread, the Mayor of Washington has also announced a Public Emergency with the State of Emergency in Washington.

15 universities have also been closed due to Coranavirus in US, which has effected the students a lot. At least 31 people have died so far, of which 24 are in Washington, three from California, two in Florida, one in New Jersey and one in South Dakota.

All large-scale programs in the US have either been canceled or postponed. Also, major companies have urged their employees to work from home.

According to the statement issued by the Department of Health, the number of infected people may increase.

It is noteworthy that the deadly Coronavirus outbreak originated in the city of Wuhan, China, and is now rapidly spreading around the world. Many countries have also banned visits. It has also resulted in huge lose to the business world.
