Karnataka Janata Dal-Secular party spokesperson quits party
Bengaluru, 07 March (HS): Rameshbabu, national General Secretary of Janata Dal-Secular(JD-S) party has today tendered his resignation to the primary membership of the party. He has made this announcement in a press release here.
He has expressed his dissatisfaction against the party high command for not considering his candidature to contest the Legislative Council elections from the South East Graduates constituency.
Despite handling several responsibilities for the party he wasn’t given an opportunity to become a member of the upper house for a full term. Now the high command has refused to nominate him for the council polls, he lamented.
Rameshbabu is the second MLC to quit the JD-S. Recently, Puttanna, former Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Council had bid adieu to the JD-S and had switched over to the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP).
Madhu Bangarappa, former Sorab MLA and president of the state youth JD-S had openly expressed his displeasure against the party high command for sidelining him in party affairs and had also hinted at deserting the party just a few days back.
