Assam Governor administers oath to Chairman and two APSC members

Guwahati, Mar 2 (HS): Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi administered the oath of office to the Chairman and two newly inducted members of Assam Public Service Commission at a programme held at Durbar Hall in Raj Bhavan here today.

The new Chairman Pallab Bhattacharyya, IPS (Retd.) and two new members Sanjib Kumar Gohain Boruah and Dr. Niranjan Kalita were given the oath of office to the new functionaries.

Earlier, Chief Secretary to the Govt. of Assam Kumar Sanjay Krishna sought the permission of the Governor to start the proceedings of the ceremony.

DGP Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta, Commissioner and Secretary to the Governor Meenakshi Sundaram, Deputy Commissioner Kamrup (M) Biswajit Pegu,  Several government officers, members of APSC and family members of the newly inducted members were present on the occasion.
