UN’s eye on Delhi violence, says – Today Mahatma Gandhi is very much needed
New Delhi, Feb 28 (HS): The violent incidents of Delhi has invited the attendion of the United Nations (UN) and the UN has reacted sharply stating that in today’s situation Mahatma Gandhi’s spirit is most needed and it should be at the center of maintaining community cohesion said UN Secretary-General spokesman Stephen Dujarric.He also stated that UN is monitoring the situaiton very closely.
UN is of the opinion that all protests should be staged peacefully such that dissent is known inviting attention of the government of the day.
