Sevilla’s top 4 hope alive with victory over Getafe
New Delhi, Feb 24 (HS): Sevilla boost their top four hopes of qualifying for next season’s Champions League with a 3-0 victory over Getafe. This is Sevilla’s first victory in their last six matches.
Running with a poor form in the last five matches, threatened Sevilla’s chances of securing a place in the Premier League tournament but the came back strongly against Getafe, with goals from Lucas Ocampos, Fernando Reges and Jules Kounde.
This victory takes Sevilla to the third spot in the La Liga points table. They are one point ahead of Getafe and and three ahead of Real Sociedad in fiftth. This was only the second victory for sevilla in La Liga since starting of 2020.
