Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan earns Rs 11.08 crore on day 2
New Delhi, Feb 23 (HS): Ayushmann Khurrana’s film Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan started its journey on box office with Rs 9.55 crore on first day, continuing to receive overwhelming response from the audience, earning 11.08 crore on day 2. While the total collection in two days is Rs 20.63 crore.
Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is Ayushmann’s third biggest opener. Bala leads the charts with Rs 10.15 crore followed by Dream Girl with Rs 10.05 crore.
The report states that if the first day would not have been a holiday owing to Maha Shivratri, the film would have collected a net amount of about Rs 7 crore in comparison to Rs 9.25 crore that it earned.
Starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Jitendra Kumar in lead roles, ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ released in theaters in India on February 21. The film was directed by debutant director Hitesh Kewalya.
