Tyson Fury becomes new WBC Heavyweight Champion
New Delhi, Feb 23 (HS): Tyson Fury knocked down Deontay Wilder in the seventh round of their heavyweight rematch in Las Vegas Saturday to claim the WBC version of the world title.
The English boxer dominated from the start of the bout, knocking down his opponent from USA in the third and fifth rounds before. Wilder’s corner threw in the towel to ended up the fight. It was the first defeat in 44 fights for Wilder, while Fury remains unbeaten after 31 bouts.
Fury totally dominated the bout right from the start. Wilder had no answer for the heavy blows from Fury, right from the opening bell.
