Pro-Pakistan slogans: Father disowns daughter’s behavior
Bengaluru,21 February(HS): Oswald Naronha, father of Amulya Leone accused of raising Pro-Pakistan slogans Yesterday in the city has out rightly disowned and condemned the behavior of his daughter.
Meanwhile the accused in the sedition case has been handed over to judicial custody for 14 days.
BS Yediyurappa, Chief Minister condemning the incident has opined for stringent action against all those indulging in anti national crimes.
HD Kumarswamy, former chief minister has also decried the move.
Yesterday soon after the incident visuals spread like wildfire across the state and country on the TV channels and social networks, the ancestral home of Amulya Leone at Shivapura village in Chikkamagaluru district was vandalized by right wing protesters.
They also had heated exchanges with Amulya’s father. However, Oswald Naronha has strongly condemned the former’s actions.
He has also pledged that he will never seek her release on bail and instead would urge for her remand in jail for six months.
