Chhapra, Jan 27 (HS): A sensation has spread after a student has received symptoms of Coronavirus after returning to the Tenzing Province of China. The Health Department said that the student Ekta Kumari has been placed under precautionary observation and there was no problem. She has been admitted to the PMCAH in Patna for a detailed investigation.
It is being told that Ekta Kumari, who lives in Shanti Nagar here, has been studying research in Tenzing Province and recently she returned to India amid reports of Coronavirus infection. After landing in Kolkata, Ekta reached Chapra where she felt a mild fever, after which the information came to the notice of doctors and she was admitted to the ICU of Chapra Sadar Hospital.
Civil Surgeon Madhveshwar Jha said that the student has been kept under observation. Since there is no system of investigation related to coronavirus in Chapra, she will be sent to PMCH of Patna on Monday where investigations will be done in detail. Coronavirus of China has spread in a dozen countries including the US.
Significantly, the number of people who have died of the coronavirus in China have reached 80. At the same time, the number of people infected with the virus is expected to reach 2300. Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province, is a city with a population of 11 million and is the main center of infection.
