Prove if CAA has a provision of taking citizenship of anyone: Shah to Rahul..

New Delhi, Dec 27 (HS): Union Home Minister Amit Shah today challenged Congress party and its leader Rahul Gandhi to prove that Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) has any provision to take away the citizenship of anyone.

“Congress and company  are spreading rumors that this act will take away the citizenship of minorities, Muslims,” said Amit Shah adding, “I challenge Rahul baba to show even one clause in the act that has provision to take away the citizenship of anyone.”

While addressing a function organized at the historic Ridge Ground in Shimla to mark the completion of two years of the BJP government of Himachal Pradesh, Shah asked the Congress party and its supporters not to spread rumors in the country on the issue of CAA. He also asked the entire opposition not to disturb the peace of the country. He clarified that the CAA has now become law and was available on the website of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government has done the biggest job to end corruption in the country. “Modi has set a target of five trillion economies in the country in times to come. The BJP will come to power by achieving an economy of five trillion before 2024,” said Amit Shah.

Shah said that Himachal was also working in this direction. Praising Jai Ram Sarkar’s Jan Manch program, he said that it has been successful in solving the problems of the people. Through this, around 88 percent problems of the people have been resolved.

The Home Minister said that the work of giving gas to Himachal’s houses is now ending. Jai Ram has taken forward the Ujjwala scheme. Nadda created the Ayushman scheme. Jai Ram has decided to provide health benefits to every person by making ‘Him Care’ and ‘Combo scheme’ to Himachal.

While describing the achievements made by the Modi government, Shah said that Modi fulfilled the old demand of ‘One Rank One Pension’ in a single year and gave a profit of 35 thousand crores. He said that the Indian forces had retaliated sharply against the Uri and Pulwama attacks with air and surgical strikes. “After this, the attitude of the world has changed towards India,” Shah said.

He said that Kashmir is sending a message to the world today that it is an integral part of India. Supreme Court verdict has come on Ram temple. Now there is going to be a sky-touching temple there. The Narendra Modi government is working towards building AIIMS, IIT, IIM, 69 National Highways, Udaan Yojana and airport in Mandi in Himachal Pradesh.
