Telangana, Dec 12 (HS): The hearing on the Hyderabad encounter case was heard on Thursday in the Supreme Court. During the hearing, Chief Justice SA Bobde said that people have the right to know the truth. We want a fair investigation in this matter. The Supreme Court set up a three-member inquiry commission to investigate the entire case.
Supreme Court orders a three-member judicial inquiry into #TelanganaEncounter which is to be headed by former SC judge VS Sirpurkar. SC said no other court or authority shall inquire into this matter until further orders of this court.
Also, the Supreme Court has banned the media from publishing any kind of news in this case. The Supreme Court set up a three-member inquiry commission headed by retired judge VS Sirpurkar. The commission consists of Retired Judge Rekha Baldota of Bombay High Court and Karthikeyan, former Director of CBI. This commission of inquiry will submit its report in 6 months. The ban on print and electronic media will remain until the final order arrives.
