Israel targets Hamas bases in Gaza
Jerusalem, Nov 27 (HS): Constant attacks continue between Israel and Gaza. Israel on Wednesday carried out airstrikes on Hamas bases in Gaza. The army carried out these attacks in response to rockets fired from Gaza Strip into Israeli territory. The Israeli military said that several air bases in Hamas were targeted in these airstrikes in the southern Gaza Strip.
The airstrikes were carried out after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned to respond strictly to each attack. Referring to the two-day-long struggle between Israeli forces and Palestinian terrorists, Netanyahu said in a statement that if anyone in Gaza thinks he can raise his head against Operation Black Belt, it is his mistake. The army said on Tuesday that two rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory. This was the second ceasefire break this week by rocket firing.
Israel on Tuesday killed one of the highest commanders of Islamic Jihad in an expedition. Immediately after this attack, hundreds of counter-rocket attacks were carried out in Israel by Islamic Jihad. After this, The Israeli army carried out an attack in which a total of 34 people, including 16 civilians were killed.
Baha Abu Al Ata was killed in northern Gaza in Israel’s Airstrike. According to Israel’s Defense Department, the terrorist Ata was planning several major attacks. Since 2007, there had been peace for months due to an informal ceasefire.
