New Delhi, Nov 23 (HS): There has been a big upsurge in the politics of Maharashtra overnight. BJP and NCP have formed a government in Maharashtra. Devendra Fadnavis has sworn in as the Chief Minister of the state again on Saturday morning, while NCP leader Ajit Pawar took the oath as deputy CM.
After taking oath as Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis said that the public had given us a clear mandate, Shiv Sena has insulted the mandate. The people of Maharashtra want a stable and stable government, not a Khichadi government. CM Fadnavis said that he will work closely with NCP for the bright future of Maharashtra.
Earlier, the Nationalist Congress Party, Congress, and Shiv Sena were engaged in the exercise of forming a government. Several rounds of meetings were also held between them, in which there was a discussion on preparing the blueprint of the government.
Earlier on Friday, the NCP, Congress and Shiv Sena met for two hours, in which Uddhav Thackeray’s name was agreed as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. After this meeting, NCP Chief Sharad Pawar said that Thackeray’s name has been agreed upon for the top post. But in the midst of political turmoil on Saturday morning, the BJP formed a government with the NCP in the state and the Shiv Sena and the Congress was left watching.
