New Delhi, Oct.22(HS): The Kartarpur Corridor, which is going to begin on the 550th Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. An agreement between India and Pakistan on this corridor (Kartarpur Corridor agreement) was to be held on Wednesday 23 November.
But according to sources, it is now being said that this agreement between the two countries will not happen on this day. The reasons for this have not been revealed yet. Pakistan is charging a fee of US $ 20 from every devotee coming from India. India objected to this due to the stubborn attitude of Pakistan, India has also approved for this.
Online registration of pilgrims for Kartarpur Corridor is going on. The first batch of devotees will leave on 5 November and the second batch on 6 November for the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, the founder of Sikhism. Pakistan’s PM Imran Khan has announced the opening of the Kartarpur corridor from 9 November. This corridor will connect the Darbar Sahib of Kartarpur Corridor to Dera Baba Nanak shrine in Gurdaspur district of Punjab, so that Indian devotees will be able to make a visa-free movement.
