Karnataka INC MLA clarifies not kidnapped by BJP
Bengaluru,19 July(HS): Shrimanth Patil, Kagwad Congress MLA from Belagavi district has today clarified that he is on his own in Mumbai hospital and no one from the Bharatiya Janata Party has kidnapped him as alleged by the ruling parties members in the state Assembly Yesterday.
This statement has come as a much-awaited sigh of relief to the saffron party, which was at the receiving end during the post-lunch session in the state Assembly Yesterday.
DK Shivakumar, state Major Irrigation Minister had created a flutter in the lower house Yesterday by displaying a few photographs and by alleging: Our MLA has been kidnapped by the BJP and taken away to Mumbai without even informing the family members.
But Shrimanth Patil himself has today refuted all the allegations made against him and the Bharatiya Janata Party.
