SpiceJet technician dies due to trapping in main landing gear door

Kolkata, July 10 (HS): A technician of SpiceJet has died in West Bengal’s Kolkata. It is being told that at 1 am on Wednesday morning at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport, technician Rohit Pandey was working in the aircraft. He got trapped in the landing gear and he died. The body of technician Rohit was taken out with the help of the Fire Brigade. The incident was about 1 am on Tuesday night when Rohit was doing some repair work in the plane.
According to reports, technician Rohit was doing some work in the Q400 landing gear. At that time, the landing door of Gear suddenly closed and Rohit got stuck in it. After the incident, the Airports Authority has ordered an inquiry. However, there is no official statement from SpiceJet about this whole incident.
