Trading in 8 scrips suspended by BSE
Mumbai, July 2(HS) The Bombay Stock Exchange has suspended the trading in shares of eight companies viz., Gujarat Perstorp Electronics, Gujarat Narmada Flyash, Maharashtra Krishna Valley Development Corporation Ltd., Softrak Ventures Investments, Rane Computer Consultancy, Geodesic, JK Pharmachem, Teem Laboratories and Global Securities on receiving complaints against them.
This suspension for indefinite period and trading in these shares will restart after resolution of complaints, according to BSE spokesperson, Yatin Padia. The BSE resolved 106 complaints in month of June. However, unresolved complaints have led to suspension of trading in the shares of these companies.
It is noteworthy that the investors have filed complaints due to different reasons viz., non payment of interest or dividend, non receipt of bonus shares or debentures, not following corporate governance norms and non receipt of amount on redemption of securities, non receipt of buy-back letter of offer.
