DC reviews progress in various sectors under Digital India Programme

Poonch, July 02 (HS): To review the progress in various sectors under Digital India Programme, a meeting was held here today. District Development Commissioner (DDC), Rahul Yadav reviewed various digital initiatives in the district.

Yadav is also the chairman of District e-Governance Society. In the meeting several officials including bank managers were also present. They deliberated upon the promotion of digital payments and removing hurdles for the smooth operations.

Threadbare discussions were held regarding the digital awareness of various government schemes. DDC directed the officers to conduct awareness camp under PMSYM scheme so that the people of remote area could get the benefits of the different schemes under the digital India Programme.

Certificate of appreciation were also awarded to persons for their contribution in promoting digitalization in the district.
