Shruthi Narayanan slams AI video leak: ‘You made it worse!’
Shruthi Narayanan condemned the circulation of alleged casting couch videos, calling them AI-generated and urging people to stop sharing them. She addressed the issue on Instagram, sharing a reel explaining how easily AI can create fake videos. In an emotional note, she said the situation caused pain for her and her family.
“For you, it’s a joke, but for me and my loved ones, it’s a tough time,” she wrote. Shruthi criticized those spreading the video, saying it worsened her distress. She asked if they would react the same way if their family members were targeted.
Shruthi also reminded people of the legal consequences of sharing such content. She shared legal provisions for action against those spreading real or fake leaked videos.
Known for Tamil TV serials like Siragadikka Aasai, Shruthi has a large social media following. Meanwhile, another actor, Shruti Narayanan from Citadel: Honey Bunny, clarified that the video did not involve her.
