“I won’t negotiate—‘Do whatever the hell you want’”: Iran’s President slams Trump’s nuclear deal bid

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian refused to negotiate with the US, telling Donald Trump to “do whatever the hell you want.” He dismissed talks under pressure and criticized Washington’s threats, Iranian state media reported Tuesday.
Trump sent a letter to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Friday, urging negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program. He warned that military action would be devastating for Iran. “I’ve written them a letter, saying I hope you’re going to negotiate,” Trump said in an interview on Fox Business Network.
Khamenei rejected the offer on Saturday, saying Iran would not submit to US pressure. Pezeshkian reinforced that stance, stating Iran would not accept threats or orders from Washington.
Trump has reintroduced his “maximum pressure” strategy, which he previously used to isolate Iran economically and curb its oil exports. This approach aims to force Iran into compliance through sanctions and diplomatic isolation.
Tensions between the two nations remain high as Iran continues to defy US demands, while Washington intensifies its efforts to limit Tehran’s nuclear ambitions.
