Infosys boosts pay! Employees get 5-8% salary hikes based on base pay

Infosys started salary hikes on February 24, offering 5-8% increases. Top performers received 10-12% raises. The hikes apply to employees in band JL6 and below, effective April 1.
On February 12, reports confirmed Infosys planned these hikes, with letters issued by the end of the month. In January, the company announced phased salary hikes, with another round set for April 2025.
Most IT firms, except TCS, delayed salary hikes in FY25 to manage costs amid weak demand. Infosys aims to offset lower hikes with allowances for taxable employees. The company, with 3.23 lakh employees, last raised salaries in November 2023.
Chief Financial Officer Jayesh Sanghrajka confirmed a 6-8% hike in India, with global increments aligned with past trends. CEO Salil Parekh assured that high performers would see even better raises. Most employees will receive their hikes in Q4.
