Hyderabad Horror: Husband claims he killed, boiled wife’s body parts
Hyderabad police are investigating the alleged murder of 35-year-old P. Venkata Madhavi by her husband, Gurumurthy. Gurumurthy, a retired army jawan, confessed to killing his wife, dismembering her body, and attempting to dispose of the remains. However, authorities have yet to recover any body parts, complicating the investigation.
On January 16, following a domestic dispute, Madhavi reportedly left their home. Her mother filed a missing person report on January 18. Initially, Gurumurthy claimed that Madhavi had left voluntarily after their argument. However, during subsequent questioning, he confessed to the crime.
Gurumurthy detailed the alleged murder, stating that he struck Madhavi, leading to her death. He then dismembered her body, boiled the parts in a pressure cooker, and disposed of the remains in various locations, including Jillelaguda Lake. Despite his confession, police have not recovered any body parts, hindering the investigation.
The police are conducting a thorough investigation, collecting technical and scientific evidence to corroborate Gurumurthy’s claims. They are also searching the areas where he indicated the remains might be found. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
This case has raised concerns about domestic violence and the need for effective measures to prevent such tragedies. Authorities are urging the public to report any suspicious activities and to seek help if they are experiencing domestic issues.
The investigation continues, with police working diligently to uncover the truth and bring justice to the victim.
