On Thursday, the newly inducted ministers of the Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis-led Mahayuti government visited the RSS Smruti Mandir. They paid tribute to the RSS founder, Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, and the second Sarsanghchalak, Golwalkar Guruji.

The visit saw the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Shiv Sena ministers, and ministers from the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). However, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar did not attend. Several BJP legislators and other alliance partners also visited the site.

This visit was part of the RSS’s ongoing tradition of inviting legislators during the winter session of the State Legislature. The ministers were given a detailed briefing about the RSS’s activities and its role in shaping the nation. The RSS leaders used this opportunity to orient the visiting ministers and strengthen their connection with the organization’s mission.

The RSS Smruti Mandir, located in Nagpur, holds a significant place in the organization’s history. It stands as a symbol of the values and principles promoted by Dr. Hedgewar and Guruji Golwalkar.

The visit allowed the ministers to pay their respects while also gaining insights into the RSS’s role in shaping social and political narratives in India.

For the ministers, this visit offered an opportunity to connect with the ideology behind the RSS and its historical contributions. It also reinforced the government’s ties with the organization, which has had a long-standing influence on India’s political landscape.

The RSS, known for its grassroots activities, continues to maintain a strong presence in Indian politics. This visit by the Mahayuti ministers is part of ongoing efforts to foster a closer relationship between the government and the RSS, ensuring cooperation on various fronts.
