Two Delhi schools, DPS RK Puram and GD Goenka School in Paschim Vihar, received bomb threats via email on Monday morning. Authorities acted swiftly to ensure the safety of students and staff. Police and emergency teams were alerted immediately.

During peak school hours, as buses arrived and parents dropped off children, the schools received alarming emails. At 6:15 am, GD Goenka School informed the Delhi Fire Department, followed by DPS RK Puram at 7:06 am. Local police, bomb detection squads, and fire officials, including dog squads, quickly reached both schools to initiate search operations.

Students were evacuated and sent home as precautionary measures unfolded. Police officials confirmed no suspicious objects had been found during the searches. Investigations into the email threats are ongoing.

This incident follows a recent scare in October when an explosion outside a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) school in Prashant Vihar caused damage to walls, shops, and vehicles. The next day, CRPF schools received another bomb threat email, warning of attacks by 11 am. However, the threat was later deemed a hoax after thorough investigations.

These recurring threats have raised concerns among parents and staff. Authorities continue to emphasize that precautionary evacuations and immediate responses aim to protect lives. The investigation into Monday’s threats remains a priority for law enforcement.
