PM Modi visits gujarat: A two-day engagement kicks off today!
Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives in Gujarat today for a two-day visit. He will inaugurate and lay the foundation for various projects worth over Rs 280 crore. The Press and Information Bureau (PIB) announced these details in a press release prior to his arrival. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) also shared the Prime Minister’s schedule on its official X handle.
Today, around 5:30 PM, the Prime Minister will launch several infrastructure and development projects in Ekta Nagar, Kevadia. He will then address the trainees of the 99th Common Foundation Course at 6 PM, coinciding with National Unity Day celebrations. This year’s theme is “Roadmap for a Self-reliant and Developed India.” The course, titled Aarambh 6.0, includes 653 officer trainees from 16 Indian civil services and 3 from Bhutan.
Tomorrow morning, at 7:15 AM, Prime Minister Modi will pay floral tributes at the Statue of Unity, honoring Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, India’s first Home Minister and Iron Man. Following this, he will lead the National Unity Day celebrations. The Prime Minister will administer the Unity Day oath to attendees, reinforcing the importance of unity among citizens.
The celebrations will feature a Unity Day Parade, showcasing 16 contingents of police from nine states and one union territory, along with four central armed police forces and NCC units. Special highlights include the Hell March contingent of the National Security Guard (NSG) and thrilling performances by male and female bikers from the Border Security Force (BSF) and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). Additionally, a captivating display of Indian martial arts by the BSF will draw attention, alongside a pipe band performance by school children.
To conclude the event, the Indian Air Force will conduct a spectacular Surya Kiran flypast, providing a thrilling aerial display for all attendees. This visit not only marks a significant engagement for the Prime Minister but also celebrates India’s commitment to unity and development. The people of Gujarat eagerly await these events as they honor their heritage and look towards a prosperous future.
