PM Modi to distribute over 51,000 appointment letters at Employment fair today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute appointment letters to over 51,000 selected candidates today at 10:30 am via video conferencing during an employment fair. He will also address the event. The Press and Information Office (PIB) of the Government of India announced this on the eve of the fair. Additionally, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) shared program details on their social media handle.

According to the PIB release, the employment fair underscores the Prime Minister’s commitment to employment generation. It aims to empower youth by providing meaningful opportunities for contributing to nation-building. Employment fairs will be held in 40 locations across the country. New employees will join various ministries and departments, including the Department of Revenue, the Department of Higher Education, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

The release also highlighted that new recruits will have the chance to undergo basic training through the online module Karmayogi Prarambh, accessible on the iGOT Karmayogi portal. This portal offers more than 1,400 e-learning courses designed to equip new employees with essential skills. These courses will help them perform effectively and contribute to building a developed India.
