President Murmu visits Mahaprabhu Jagannath temple on Chhattisgarh tour
President Droupadi Murmu, accompanied by Governor Ramen Deka, visited the Sri Jagannath Temple in Gayatri Nagar, Raipur, on Saturday morning to pray for the prosperity and peace of the nation. They offered prayers to Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath Bhagwan, seeking blessings for the well-being of all citizens.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai also joined the ceremony, along with Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu, MP Brijmohan Agarwal, and MLA Purandar Mishra. Temple committee officials were present as well, ensuring the occasion was smoothly conducted and honoring the distinguished guests.
The President’s visit to the temple highlighted the cultural and spiritual significance of the shrine, especially during her tour of Chhattisgarh.
