Tragic Road Accident in Numaligarh Claims Three Lives
A tragic road accident occurred last night on National Highway No. 39 in Numaligarh, claiming the lives of three individuals. Among the deceased are Debjit Bardalai, Parth Pratim Konwar, and Biranchi Bora. Parth Pratim Bangthai, the former president of the Manha Regional Students Union and an ex-executive member of the district, also lost his life in this devastating incident.
According to police reports, the accident was severe, with three of the four passengers in the vehicle dying on the spot. The fourth individual, identified as Bhrigu Sharma, suffered critical injuries and was transported to Guwahati for urgent medical care.
The accident happened when the driver lost control of the vehicle while traveling from Numaligarh to NRL at night. Numaligarh police promptly arrived at the scene to recover the bodies and the vehicle. They have initiated a preliminary investigation into the cause of the accident.
