Rajnath Singh Set to Launch DefConnect 4.0: Driving India’s Defence Innovation Revolution
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will inaugurate DefConnect 4.0 on Monday in Delhi Cantt, organized by iDEX-DIO. This event, a key step toward boosting indigenous innovation, focuses on revolutionizing India’s defence and aerospace sectors. Launched in 2018 by Prime Minister Modi, iDEX has already hosted 11 Defence India Start-up Challenges and partnered with over 450 start-ups and MSMEs.
At DefConnect 4.0, cutting-edge technologies developed by iDEX innovators will be showcased. These innovations will foster collaboration among stakeholders and encourage dialogue between industry leaders, defence experts, and innovators. The event will feature product launches, interactive sessions, and discussions to drive further advancements in the sector.
With its focus on indigenous innovation, DefConnect 4.0 aligns with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, aiming to position India as a leader in defence technology. By promoting innovation and collaboration, the event will help strengthen India’s defence capabilities and support the growth of the aerospace industry.
