11 Acres of Poppy Fields Destroyed in Tamenglong

Security forces in Manipur are intensifying efforts to combat drug smuggling and illegal poppy cultivation. As part of this ongoing drive, police have destroyed around 170 acres of poppy fields this year.

Today, Manipur Police announced that security forces eradicated 11 acres of poppy cultivation in Kuilong Part 2 and Kadi IV villages under Tamei police station in Tamenglong district. A case has been filed for further investigation.
