PM’s two-day visit to Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka from today
New Delhi, 8 April (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will gift projects worth more than Rs 11,300 crore to Telangana today (Saturday). The Prime Minister will first flag off the Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express train.
According to his office, Prime Minister Modi will visit Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka on April 8 and 9.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Prime Minister Modi will reach Secunderabad Railway Station on April 8 at around 11:45 am. He will flag off the Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express train here. This train connects IT City, Hyderabad to Tirupati, the abode of Lord Venkateswara. This is the second Vande Bharat train to be launched from Telangana within a short span of three months.
The Prime Minister will attend a public function at Parade Ground Hyderabad at around 12:15 pm. Here the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of AIIMS Bibinagar Hyderabad. It is being developed at a cost of over Rs 1,350 crore. The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for five National Highway projects worth over Rs 7,850 crore. He will lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of Secunderabad Railway Station and also inaugurate other railway-related development projects.
After this the Prime Minister will go to Tamil Nadu. There he will inaugurate the new Integrated Terminal Building (Phase-1) of Chennai International Airport at around 3 pm. It has been developed at a cost of Rs 1260 crore. At 4 pm, the Prime Minister will flag off the Chennai-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express train at MGR Chennai Central Railway Station.
Prime Minister Modi will participate in the 125th-anniversary celebrations of Sri Ramakrishna Math in Chennai at 4:45 pm. Will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of road projects worth about Rs 3700 crore at Alstrom Cricket Ground in Chennai at 6:30 pm.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bandipur Tiger Reserve in Karnataka tomorrow (Sunday) at around 7:15 am. This will be followed by the inauguration and coin release of ‘Commemoration of 50 years of Project Tiger’ at Karnataka State Open University, Mysuru at around 11 am. During this, he will release the summary report of All India Tiger Estimation (fifth cycle).
