Seven people died after drinking spurious liquor in Bihar’s Chhapra, families claim
Chhapra / Patna, 14 December (HS): Liquor has wreaked havoc in Isuapur police station area of Chhapra district of Bihar. There has been a stir since the death of seven people due to drinking poisonous liquor from Tuesday night to Wednesday morning. At present, the administration has denied the consumption of any kind of liquor in this incident. But their families have claimed that all of them died due to consumption of spurious liquor.
Among the dead are Kunal Kumar Singh s/o Jadu Singh Masrakh Jadu Modra, Maji Sah s/o Gopal Sah Shastri Tola Mashrak, Vichendra Rai s/o Nrusig Rai Doyla Ishuapur, Manoj Kumar Singh s/o Vakil Singh Doyla Ishuapur, Ganesh Ram s/o Harendra Ram Mashrak, Amit Ranjan s/o Virendra Kumar. Sinha Doyla Isuapur and Mukesh Sharma s/o Bacha Sharma are Hanuman Ganj Mashrak.
Dr. Dhananjay Kumar of Chhapra Sadar Hospital says that all the people were drinking some suspicious liquor. What is this suspected leaker, it will be known after the post-mortem report. On the other hand, Madhaura DSP reached the spot and started investigation. Police has come to know that Amit Ranjan had also taken treatment at Chhapra Sadar Hospital.
