Naidu to visit Varanasi amid tight security
Varanasi, April 15 (H.S.)| Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu will visit Varanasi with his family on Friday evening amid tight security for a two-day stay in Kashi.
Approximately 225 RPF and GRP personnel have been deployed at Cantt railway station and 286 RPF and GRP personnel are deployed at Banaras railway station besides the Guest House Complex at Bareka. Banners, posters and hoardings have been put up at the Banaras station and on the way to and from the city.
Vice President Naidu, along with his wife Usha Naidu, will come to Kashi by special train from Ayodhya. The special train of the Vice President will reach Cantt railway station from Ayodhya on way to Banaras railway station.
Naidu will be received by Governor Anandiben Patel and State Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak at Banaras station. Deputy Chief Minister Pathak will accompany the VP.
The VP will join the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat after some rest at Bareka Guest House. On Saturday, after darshan at Kalbhairav Temple and Kashi Vishwanath Temple and post lunch, he will go to Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Sthal before returing to Delhi.
