Vaccine Update: Over 185.90 crore vaccine administered

New Delhi, 12 April (H.S.)| More than 185.90 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered so far, in the nation-wide vaccination drive.

Vaccination campaign started from 16th March, 2022, for the age group 12-14 year old has, so far, covered over 2.27 crore adolescents with first dose of vaccine. Precaution dose for adults from 18-59 years, started from 10th April, 2022, has 27,401 adults with precaution dose administered.

According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, so far, over 190.18 crore vaccine doses have been provided to States and union Territories through free-of-cost and direct state procurement channels. Out of those, more than 19.18 crore are, yet to be administered, still in-stock with the States and union Territories.
