US urges Iran to convene a meeting of the UN Security Council

Washington, June 22 (HS): The tension between Iran and America is continuously increasing. Now the US has urged Iran to convene a meeting of the UN Security Council in Iran. Recently Iran destroyed America’s powerful surveillance drone. After this, President Donald Trump had approved military action on Iran, although he had withdrawn the order until late night. Later, Iran also released pictures of the drone.

According to a US diplomat, the US has urged the UN Security Council to convene a meeting of Iran and the Gulf on the recent developments. The diplomat said that in this meeting they will discuss the attack on oil tankers in the Gulf. Another diplomat said that this meeting will be held on Monday afternoon.
