Puneet Rajkumar laid to rest with state honours

Bengaluru, 31 October (H.S): Puneet Rajkumar, Sandalwood Power star was laid to rest at the state government-owned Kanteerava Studios here with state honours. The cremation took place between the tombs of his father, Kannada matinee idol Dr Rajkumar and his mother, filmmaker Ms Parwathamma.

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai paid an emotional tribute by kissing the forehead of Puneet Rajkumar. Former chief ministers BS Yediyurappa, Siddaramaiah, ministers, leaders of various parties, celebrities of the tinsel world from different states were present to pay their final respects.
