PM Modi launches Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission

New Delhi, 27 September (H.S): Prime Minister Narendra Modi Monday launched the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) through video conferencing as a historic initiative.

On this occasion, union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that on August 15, last year, the Prime Minister had announced the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission from the ramparts of the Red Fort. I am glad that he is launching it today. I am sure this will revolutionize the health sector. He said that it will get rid of the problem of lost medical records of patients. Now this data of patients will be safe in digital format. He said that now patients can be treated with digital consultation.
