Free passport after graduation in Haryana
Chandigarh, September 7 (H S ) : Haryana Government will consider setting up of Haryana International Education Department in the State.
While inaugurating the ‘International Haryana Education Society’ at Haryana Bhawan today, Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal said that the State Government will fulfil the dream of the youth of Haryana to study abroad and get a job. For this, ?Foreign Cooperation Department? has been set up and Haryana is the first state in the country to do so.
The Chief Minister said that the present government is first to take the initiative of giving passports to students with BA/MA degrees in the state. So far, passports of 3,000 youths have been made, he added.
The Chief Minister asked the youth of the State to learn foreign languages. While citing his example he shared that he has also taken admission in Japanese language learning course. He elaborated that cultural exchange with foreign countries is a good medium to develop a better understanding of other countries.
While appreciating the efforts of Rohit Ahlawat, from London, for the ‘online training programme’ started by ‘International Haryana Education Society’ for the youth of Haryana, Chief Minister, Manohar Lal said that soon the youth of Haryana will make a mark in foreign land as well.
United Kingdom MP, Virendra Sharma in his address shared the experiences of an old meeting he had with the Chief Minister of Haryana. He also praised the ‘online training programme’. Dr Rajveer Dahiya from California, USA, in his address shared practical details about the wide possibilities of admission in various educational institutions internationally.
The founder of ‘International Haryana Education Society’, Rohit Ahlawat, in his address, explained the objectives of the society. Smt. Rekha Dhankhar, who connected to the event from Britain, got the first registration of the society done from the Chief Minister. On this occasion, Media Advisor to Chief Minister, Amit Arya, Principal Secretary Foreign Cooperation Department, Yogendra Choudhary, Department Coordinator, Pawan Chaudhary, Kiran Gulia from London, Nisha Ahlawat and many other people from India and abroad joined on this occasion.
