Red Eagle warriors conduct medical camp in village
PRAYAGRAJ, June 7 (HS): Village Amini Lokipur in Prayagraj district has been adopted by Red Eagle Division, based at Prayagraj, for assistance during COVID times. In order to provide impetus to the requirement of vaccination of the population of the village & to assist in the medical needs of the general population, the Red Eagle Division set up a medical camp in Amini Lokipur village. As part of its outreach, the Red Eagle Division trained 12 volunteers of the village as nursing assistants & has ensured vaccination of 186 persons of the village with the first dose of the COVID vaccine. As on date, 285 persons have been medically examined, 106 persons have undergone RT-PCR test & 199 persons have undergone RAT test. On specific request of the villagers, a lady military doctor carried out a special medical checkup for women folk and girls. Village Head Lakhan Singh appreciated the efforts of the Red Eagle Division in assisting the villagers during COVID times &expressed his gratitude for the same, informed Shantanu Pratap Singh, Public Relations Officer, Ministry of Defence, Prayagraj.
