BJP MLA Gautamlal Meena from Dhariyavad constituency, Rajasthan dies of corona

New Delhi, 19 May (HS): BJP MLA Gautamlal Meena from Dhariyavad constituency of Pratapgarh district of Rajasthan died on Wednesday morning due to corona. He was undergoing treatment at the state Maharana Bhupal Hospital in Udaipur. This is the death of fourth MLA from Corona in Rajasthan. It is known that MLAs Kailash Trivedi, Gajendra Singh Shaktawat and Kiran Maheshwari have passed away earlier from Corona.

Speaker of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Dr. CP Joshi has expressed deep grief over the demise on the death of Gautam Lal Meena. He said that late Gautam Lal was a rich skillful public representative and gentle personality. He was well treated by people from every section of his region. In the Legislative Assembly too, he used to go ahead and advocate public issues. His death has caused damage to the public service sector. People of the area will always remember him.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has also tweeted and expressed condolences on Meena’s death. Senior BJP leaders including former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, Leader of Opposition Gulabchand Kataria, BJP state president Satish Poonia have also expressed condolences, terming the death of MLA Meena irreparable.
