UP’s more than three lakh students will make people aware of vaccination

Lucknow,  11 April  (HS) :       After Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has personally taken the command to protect people from Covid infection,  the youth power of the state has also come forward to make people aware of vaccination.

More than three lakh students studying in the engineering and management colleges of the state will now make people aware of the Covid vaccinations and try to eliminate the misconceptions of the people about the vaccine. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) will honour these students.

Inspired by the Chief Minister’s personal involvement in Covid management , more than three lakh students of AKTU affiliated institutes have also come forward to offer their human resources, Vice Chancellor of AKTU, Prof. Vinay Pathak said that students are being taken to carry forward the campaign of the  Chief Minister.

Students willl send pics of their parents on their WhatsApp

AKTU and IET Lucknow are going to start awareness campaign on Covid vaccination. The students have been   to motivate their parents and other citizens  to take the Kovid vaccine. After this, they will have to send photos of their parents to the university through WhatsApp. Such students will be honored by the university through letters of appreciation.

More than four thousand students of Institute of Engineering  Technology (IET)  will also participate in this campaign with AKTU. IET Director Prof. Vineet Kansal said that involvement of the students with this campaign will give a boost to the Covid vaccination. Students will be able to eliminate misconceptions about vaccinations in a better way.

Awareness campaign to run in the villages

AKTU along with its students will conduct awareness campaign on Vaccination in the villages with the help of  NSS and National Cadet Corps units. During this campaign, through the villages and anganwadis adopted by the university, the confusion about the vaccinations among the rural people will be eliminated. They will be provided with information about the vaccination centres close to their home.

Video will be shown to villagers

AKTU spokesperson Ashish Mishra explains that a Video produced by journalism department of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti  Urdu Arabic Persian university based on Covid vaccine information, will be shown to the villagers. Also this video will be promoted and disseminated online.
